A capacity building activity for PwDs (visually impaired and deaf) and for indigenous groups was organised in Cameroon in 2022. This activity, which was part of the Leave No One Behind program, was attended by 67 people, including 25 visually impaired, 17 deaf, and 25 minorities, with 50% women as participants. 10 out of 67 participants came from Boko Haram affected areas of Lake Chad Basin. Participants took part in a panel discussion with representatives of Heads of Agencies, including the Resident Coordinator, on the topics agreed upon by the different groups, namely

  1. SDGs and climate change;
  2. Rights of people living with disabilities and indigenous peoples and advocacy strategies;
  3. Inclusive education and employment
